Sham 69 broke up after their fourth album. They then started to move away from punk rock into a sound heavily influenced by classic British hard rock bands such as Mott The Hoople, The Who and The Faces, evidenced on their third album, The Adventures of the Hersham Boys. Sham 69 rar full#The latter came from their second LP and first full studio album, That's Life. Their major label debut was "Borstal Breakout" in January 1978, followed by UK singles chart success with "Angels With Dirty Faces" (reaching number 19 in May 1978), "If The Kids Are United" (number 9 in July 1978), and "Hurry Up Harry" (number 10 in October 1978). Sham 69 released their first single, "Ulster", on Step Forward Records in August 1977, and its success in the independent charts prompted Polydor to sign the band. Their concerts were notoriously plagued by violence, and the band ceased live performances after one of their gigs at Middlesex Polytechnic in 1978 was broken up by National Front skinheads fighting and rushing the stage. The band had a large skinhead following (left wing, right wing and non-political), which helped set the tone for the Oi! movement. Sham 69 lacked the art school background of many British punk bands of the time, and brought in football chant back-up vocals and a sort of inarticulate political populism. Sham 69 formed in Hersham, Surrey in 1976 (the 12 November issue of NME notes they were rehearsing at this time, although only Jimmy Pursey would remain from this early line-up 12 months later). Originally released in 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax was made in collaboration with Arc System Works of the Guilty Gear series. This could seriously hamper gameplay, and fighting game enthusiasts might even wait until rollback netcode is implemented before purchasing the game at all. However, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax releases in March but won’t get its rollback netcode until sometime later in the summer. Rollback netcode is what you’ll find in the most recent fighting games and brawlers, like Nickelodeon’s All-Star Brawl and Guilty Gear Strive, and soon it’ll also be in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. If the algorithm is wrong, the game goes back to before the guess was made and the two players continue from there.įor normal latency issues between players, rollback netcode algorithms have gotten so good that players can’t really tell the difference between playing online and in person. If the algorithm guessed right, the game continues and neither player will notice anything. Unlike delay-based netcode, which can appear extremely laggy if there is any latency between the two players, rollback netcode uses an algorithm to essentially guess what each player will do in the event of a desync. Rollback netcode has become the gold standard of fighting games in recent years. Related: Persona 6 Should Embrace Poly Relationships Now, regarding rollback netcode, we're planning on releasing this feature in the summer of this year, so please look forward to it. “When we announced the new ports, we were amazed and absolutely thrilled by your response. "It's been almost 10 years since the original P4A was released on PS3,” said Wada. This comes straight from the mouth of Atlus producer Kazuhisa Wada who made the announcement yesterday on Twitter. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be getting rollback netcode, but it won’t have it when it arrives next month. The approval of drugs and medical devices in the US is a long and financially strenuous process. Until this lens is tested by the FDA for extended wear, we won't have any official statement from Bausch and Lomb. But I am interested in this lens for extended wear. But sounds like they are trying to use price fixing and that's only good for the eye care people. Plus, at least B&L is releasing them first in the USA and not all over the world first like most have been doing. The FDA still has the original Acuvue approved for 6 nights. Well, if B&L won't bother trying to get FDA approval on extended wear, then maybe other countries like Canada and in Europe will. No idea why they used a BC of 8.4 though. Also tried Coopervision new one, Myday and its better to me. #Bausch and lomb infuse review plus#They are clear for distance but really bad for me up close, plus sometimes felt like they would come out of my eye. I tried the hyped Dailies Total 1 after they finally made their way into the USA. So many problems cause by that handing and solution mismatch. I never try cleaning a lens and getting involved with all that solution stuff. I agree that Daily is more clear overall, but I hate putting them in every morning and hate not wearing them at night also. I don't think they all are lying or other companies posting. There is a lot of people that's had those problems after leaving regular Acuvue. Also said its the most abused lens on the market. This causes unhealthy tears under the lens which leads to a higher incidence of corneal ulcers and inflammation. One OD has on their site-It is steep at the edge which pinches off the tear flow under the lens. But that steep edge design isn't liked in some papers I read on edge design or some OD. There are more than a few bad comments on Oasys, but maybe its because so many are sold. I'm also not sure I like these new lens having the same edge as Oasys. Both are OK but PV2 works some better for me. I'm surprise about such a low usage you stated, considering how well liked they seem to be. I certainly haven't read anything about PV2 being shut down, but it kind of makes sense. To many people lie about how they use contact lens, plus the litigation mess here in the USA. Just use common sense and don't over use them. I also don't need any comments about wearing over night, I been doing that for around 35 years and no problems. They have more water, lower Modulus and higher DK/t than Purevision or PV2. Plus common sense is how could they not be. Well, that makes no sense unless its extended wear. I find their description odd because they say monthly and weekly. I also wonder if they told any OD they could be worn extended wear. Do you have any information on about that ? I emailed B&L and they just said not approved yet and keep checking. I read one other place that stated they were told they would. I use extended wear contacts and wondering if B&L will bother getting these lens approved for that. There is very little available at this time. I found your review searching for more information about these lenses. People tried to dodge baton-wielding security forces. Most of them were rushed to the main hospital in Nairobi," medic Peter Muiruri said. "We had to treat some with minor injuries. A medic said a fence fell down after people pushed it and about 60 were injured, though the number may rise. Scores of people were crushed and injured as they forced their way into the packed stadium. Ruto's first tweet quoted Psalms: "This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it." In his speech, he praised both the church and Islamic leadership and vowed that "we will enhance our partnership, build on our collaboration and enhance our support to them." "A chicken seller to a president," intoned the pastor, highlighting Ruto's humble youth. Ruto, who had dropped to his knees in tears and prayer when the court upheld his win, knelt on the stage minutes after his swearing-in during an extended sermon. On Tuesday, the audience cheered as the two shook hands, and again as Kenyatta handed over the instruments of power. The 55-year-old Ruto had been the deputy to outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta but had a bitter split with Kenyatta that left the two not speaking for months at a time. The Supreme Court last week rejected a challenge by losing candidate and longtime opposition figure Raila Odinga of the official results, completing a markedly peaceful election in a country with a history of troubled ones. 9 election in East Africa's most stable democracy, and quickly signaled that his leadership will be a strongly Christian one. NAIROBI, Kenya - William Ruto was sworn in as Kenya's president on Tuesday after narrowly winning the Aug. (b) You have a need to query against these fields, especially complex queries. (a) Your log file has distinct fields, like date logged, id of logged-in user at time of event, module triggering the event, etc and Two things would lead me to using a database: The text file format then provides ready access to the information (using a local text editor), used for diagnostic purposes interest for log event older than a few weeks. The only logs I would recommend leaving in flat text file only format, are these associated with rare/occasional error messages and other exception cases. On related matters, you could look into many useful logging libraries such as log4j (which btw can be configured to go to flat files, with rolling management, or to database back-end). Sometimes a valid approach is to store to a database heap (a table without any index, or maybe just one simple index), and to keep this heap small by moving its contents to a fully indexed table, every evening (or whenever the SQL load is expected to be low). This will be more noticeable if the underlying database table has many indexes. Typically storing to DB will incur a small performance hit, as compared with flat text output. (assuming the individual elements of the log event, such as date/time, event type, numeric code, clear-text message etc. Storing to a database could also allow someone to query the logs for various purposes at a later date. In the end, if I expect my logging to be used in failure scenarios, I need to have the highest availability possible, and presuming I am in a failure state, I can't assume that my DB will still be running. Again, not the most powerful but readily available. A well formatted log file can also have reports generated by use of grep/awk/sed, etc. Not the most powerful of toolsets but always available. If I can get to the server at all, a text file let's me debug with vi/emacs/notepad/*. What if my db/network/? are not functional in some way. If the reason for logging is to be able to trace failures and possibly debug the system, I need to be able to process my "Log" in the direst of circumstances. Storing a current status or critical state transitions of a complex workflow in a db is great, but loggin/tracing all of the steps in the DB can be an issue. Having said this I am very hesitant to do process logging in a db. OTOH if you are very used to working with SQL and are already using a database in the project then there's little overhead in also using a database for logging.Īs a developer of client/server and now n-tier applications, I have great love the the power, reliability and speed of database systems. Using an SQL database is a bit more complicated than just appending a file or two and calling fflush. You might prefer a database for transaction scalability - say if you want to centralise many logs into one database so are actually getting some concurrency ( though it's not intrinsic to the problem - having separate logs on one server would also allow this, but you then have to merge them to total for all your systems ). Since a log never updates an existing entry, and so has no constraints which can be violated or cascading deletions, there's a lot there which you'll never use. The implementation assumes that data should not be duplicated and there are integrity constraints relating to references to other relations/tables which need to be enforced. In general, most SQL databases are optimised for updating data robustly, rather than simply appending to the end of a time series. Given the wealth of log file analysis programs out there and the number of server logs which are plain text, it's well established that plain text log files do scale and are fairly easily queryable. If the iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods Pro take up all of Apple's September 7 event, what else does that leave Apple to unveil? Checking the rumor mill for other potential products goes a long way toward helping guess if future Apple product events could appear after the dust settles from this week's announcements. Are any other Apple products in the works? For another, one of the rumored features - the ability to track workouts - would be tied to the Apple Watch.Īpple tends to block out an hour for its product events, and four new phones, three new watches and a pair of updated wireless earbuds seems like it would fill that time. For one, it's been nearly three years since the original AirPods Pro came out. Whether Apple shows off any accessories is anyone's guess, but the AirPods Pro 2 appear to be a likely candidate. Leakers are also tipping Apple to come out with multiple smartwatches, including a higher-end Apple Watch 8 Pro and an entry level Apple Watch SE 2. Apple could also show off the latest Apple Watch models, led by the Apple Watch 8. We're expecting more than just phones on Wednesday. Besides the standard iPhone 14, Apple is likely to drop the iPhone mini for a big-screen iPhone 14 Max handset that offers a 6.7-inch display at a lower price than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. That includes a new processor, improved wide and ultrawide cameras, faster charging speeds and a new look that ditches the iPhone's iconic notch. Specifically, Apple is likely to show off the iPhone 14 lineup, with the biggest rumored changes coming to the iPhone 14 Pro models. When you do tune in, expect new iPhones to lead the charge of product announcements. The Pine Tree State’s rocky outcrops where seals go are much more spread out, diluting the chances of massive seal groups and, in turn, the odds of shark hotspots along the coast.Īnother thing that may make it hard to tell if there even is a hotspot is one of Maine’s most famous attributes: its long rocky coast. Though Maine does have seal colonies, it doesn’t have anything equivalent to the Cape. “If their food is there, they are going to follow the food.” “They aggregate mainly to feed on seals,” said John Mohan, a shark researcher at the University of New England. While other species’ ranges are creeping northward into Maine on a warming Atlantic Ocean, sharks are more concerned with the lunch options than the water temperature. That makes the region an attractive hunting ground for sharks. Thousands of seals will amass on these sandy stretches, so much so that you can see them on satellite photos. The coast of Cape Cod has massive seal haul outs. #The porthole maine free#We were able to find free parking one night and then had to pay valet at the hotel the other night. One of the compelling reasons why Maine may never see sharks in large congregations is the aggregation of seals in Maine and Massachusetts is vastly different. Parking can be an issue since pretty much everywhere is paid. You will need a car for this trip unless you are just staying in the heart of portland and planning to uber. I usually create these in a Mac application called 'Pixelmator', which is easier than Photoshop, but it's not available for the Chrome. In about five seconds, you know what these are about and you've gotten what you needed out of them. They're very simple, they're simple to create, and they're simple to consume. As a matter of fact, this is if you go to Google and search ' infographics', these are the type of infographics that I’m known for. Now, if you are familiar with Social Media Online Classes, you'll know that we use infographics a lot. First of all, what I want to do is show you this infographic up close and personal. INFOGRAPHIC CREATOR APP HOW TOOne of the things that's really hard to do on a Chromebook is to create graphics and infographics, but I was able to not only create an infographic, but make it clickable and add hyperlinks to it using nothing but Google Slides, and so I'm going to show you how to do that. I wrote a blog post called 'How to Run Your Business on a Chromebook for Less Than $300'. I was really fascinated by how much I was able to do with it. You can't use any type of desktop applications. Recently, I went to a conference in Austin, Texas with nothing but my Chromebook, which if you're not familiar with a Chromebook, it's basically a cloud-computing laptop.
